OH OH NAPPY LOVE LOL !!!!

I have done something different this time not a card but a nappy baby it is different from nappy cakes and a lot more fun.
Here is how it was done :-

First you need nappies newborn or size 2

Open out the nappy

Start to roll the nappy up not to tight

Wrap a elastic band to keep in place we ran out so used masking tape just as good

Do this till you have lots i used about 30

Put together like this  arms and leg and head are held in place by ribbon or string

Then add the baby clothes this one had a baby gro, bottoms and a hoodie

Close up add a noo noo and wobbly eyes not shown in pic lol

Made two in the same way

This one was done a different way has head was added last

Baby items added  and teddy

Done just needs cello wrap and pull bow and a great gift for a new mum

They look great together

Selina holding a nappy baby they feel just like a real baby lol

Geisha's and Dragons

This week for some of the challenges i entered for the facebook group  Ditzy-Craftymess we did some Geisha's and dragons here is what i came up with hope you like them plus a step by step how i made the hanging good luck charm.

First of all you need the danglers get a piece of card and wind round the card a few times depending on how thick you want the danglers

Cut the string from the card and Davide by 3.
Next do the same with some gold sting or in my case embroidery floss and Davide this in the 3 piles of floss.

Fold in half one of the piles and cut a piece of floss and tie round the top of the fold this is a bit fiddly but can be done make sure it is tight and leave a end for later.

This is what you should end up with do the same with the other two piles of floss.

Then stamp your dragon image onto white paper or card and add to some stiff card outline the image with black.

Now you are ready to add the danglers this is done by making hole with a pin first then a sewing needle though the top you left on the floss. put one end in then the other end and tie at the back. do the same with all 3 pieces.

Here are all 3 done and this is what you should end up with. Next thread some more floss thought two holes in the top of the image to make a hanging then add the good luck coin so to hang it with.

And this is what you end up with

Here another pic of it i think it looks good.

This is a card i made yesterday for the challenge  i like this one.

This is the one i entered today

And this is a Mandarin i did last week
hope you like my blog today call again soon :)
